$700 / 1br - Victorian Mansion Summer Sublet (Baltimore City - Roland Park) (map)
I’m a graduate student who will be working abroad this summer and am looking for someone to sublet a room in my ridiculously overfurnished Victorian mansion from the beginning of June through the end of August. My room is one of three in the house, the other two of which will likely be occupied by graduate researchers during that period. The rent is all-inclusive, meaning electric, internet, and HD cable are provided as part of the cost. Pictures of the house are included below, but a list of housing features includes:
• Very large living room (~200+ square feet) with great light and fireplace
• Study / Guest Room with built-in bookshelves and French doors
• Spacious Hallway / Art Gallery
• Hardwood floors in all rooms except kitchen and bathroom
• Kitchen with dishwasher, gas range, and microwave
• Large basement for storage and events with 2 washers and 2 dryers (all free)
• Recently remodeled bathroom
• More free parking than you could ever possibly use
• Covered stone and wood front porch
• Covered side porch ideal for grilling
• Strong, dedicated wireless internet network
• HD-cable ready with 50 inch HD in the living room and a 27 inch flat screen in the study
• We have a Nintendo Wii, PS3, HD TV, RockBand, hundreds of movies, etc.
• Central air conditioning
• Large front and back yards with old, majestic trees
• Located in a safe and gorgeous neighborhood
• Quick, nearby access to route 83
• Many nearby running/walking paths
• ~10 minutes by bike/car to JHU, Loyola, and Towson
• Only about a mile from the Mt. Washington Light Rail stop
• Stop for Route 61 bus (goes from Lake Avenue south to JHU down St. Paul to the Inner Harbor) is right across the street from our driveway.
The room comes furnished with a queen-sized bed, large desk, and dresser as seen in the photos. If you have any questions, need more pictures, or would like to take a tour, I will happily accommodate. Cheers!
