Jared Denhard Concert with Ukulele Workshop
Ukelist and Celtic Harper Jared Denhard will present an informal concert/workshop on June 1st at Guitars of Pikesville. He will have 10 starter ukes with him for participants who want to use one. Of course, listeners are also more than welcome and will have a great time!
Guitar players can add some ukulele action to thier bag of tricks.
Ukulele players can pick up some new tricks and tunes in time for summer.
We will learn some cool island and mainland licks and strums, as well as a few
exotic tiki tunes and fingerpicked ragtime and blues tunes.
The chord patterns for ukulele are the same as guitar, ( only less strings and different chord names) so guitarists will be able to pick it up right away!
Knowledge of basic first position chords will be helpful.
Music/tab handouts will be provided
