Hello, my name Deft. I am currently in association with an eight year drummer by the name of E.B. We are attempting to start a Hard Rock/Post-Hardcore/Hip-Hop band and we're looking for a few opened minded and talented artists to complete the group.
What we are looking for:
A Female Lead Singer / Screamer. Experience is not required but a good voice is a must.
A Lead Guitarist / Singer. Experience is required in Metal, Trash, or Hardcore [think -fast-] playing. Screaming is not required but is welcome if applicable.
A Bassist. Experience is requited in Metal, Trash, or Hardcore [think -fast-] playing. Singing is not required but is welcome if applicable.
What we have.
Deft (Hip Hop): 22 years old with 10 years of Hip Hop and song writing experience. 5 years of recording experience. Former member of two Maryland record labels. Has appeared on numerous mainstream mix-tapes.
E.B. (Drums): 8 years of professionally taught drumming experience. Co-Founder of Indie Rock band "The Brighter Blue". Alternative Rock, Indie Rock, Punk Rock, Thrash experience. Extremely fast and accurate drummer.
This band will be completely open to lyrical and musical input and the songs themselves will be written collectively as well as individually with artistic input accepted and appreciated. The name of the band has already been chosen and set for trademark. The name of the band is "The Crimson Vertigo". This does not mean, however that the name is set in stone. When the band is complete a final decision will be made in case the original name doesn't suit everyone.
In addition, the band already has a set $30,000 professional recording studio owned and operated by a band member's sister who has recorded such bands as "Child's Play, Johnny Love and Speed, and the Furious Furs." Through personal connections and ties, gigs -will- be set up as soon as the band is prepared including the option to open for a band of choice at the Merriweather Post Pavilion.
