Currently on my way out of a busy country band that's playing a little too far from home for my tastes.
Country not exactly being my strong suit (as witnessed by my recordings on my Myspace page), I'd like to fall in with a bunch looking to do other stuff. Prefs would be things like high energy rock/funk/blooz kinda stuff. Things with a heavy groove that make ya wanna move....
Not too interested in modern rock, but could be persuaded if the money is right, and the work is steady.
Start-ups ok if there's potential and the thing gets up to flight speed quickly. Working groups get preference. Don't mind "B" clubs, as long as they're local. Not interested in doing "C" clubs (if you don't know the diff, then you're probably not what I'm looking for).
Age, race, gender do not play a part. Alcohol and weed doesn't really matter either, as long as you keep it together onstage. Chances are good that if you can't, you've been told so before. If you've been told so before, don't bother responding.
Passive-agressive behavior and back-biting will most definitely get you kicked in the nutz (or vag) on my way out the door. I'm way too old for juvenile drama.
