The (or Thee if you prefer)Desperate Horsewipes are in search of all kinds of stuff. we'd like a drummer that can actually keep time, a talented song-writer (since we be suck at writting), a guitarist or theremin, or keyboard player or sitar or accordian or something like that...hmmmm,...what else?...well, we want someone that is friendly, hassle-free, not looking to get rich or famous, any age from 21 to 110 (a really old person could be cool,...like the guy from that 6 flags commercial), male or female of any nationality, but...you gotta be able to play well, have at least some experience...you can be ugly or hot, but can't be smelly. what we offer: not much, but we have a good female singer that used to pack shows, and me, I play bass like I can't tell you how. we have a PA, a nice drum kit (not the crap all you guys think is good), and a practice space, and we like cheese, crackers, natty boh, and hamburgers or hot dogs on our grill. music? neko case, blue cheer, of montreal, the sonics, the decemberists, wilco, new york dolls, dead moon, all kinds of garage and psychedelia, mel torme, the pink fairies, the stranglers, fiona apple, supergrass, flaming lips, arthur lee, love,...I'd love to release the next "forever changes" if you can write it for us, and do other stuff. won't you please help? email with a complete resume, 2 letters of recommendation, and a 100 word essay on why you believe something or other.
