Rhythm Guitarist looking for modern rock cover band

Hey what's up My name is Eric, I have been playing guitar for about 8 years now and I currently am looking for a band or musicians interested in starting a band. Ok heres they story: Basicly what I am looking to is covers, I can and do write my own material, but i mainly want to have fun with it. I am looking to cover mostly modern (90's through current) rock maybe some classics thrown in the mix, but mainly stay in that range. I think within those paramaters, there are ALOT of great songs of many different varietys. I'm kind of sick of going to the rusty rudder and starboard,seacrets ect...seeing bands play the SAME material!!!! People would love to hear something refreshing once in a while and I'm looking to do just that. As far as gear goes, I was dumb and got married(now divorced) at a young age, ran into money problems and had to get rid of my gear to pay rent. I currently am rebuilding my equipment inventory and i'm adding to it every week. Right now, I went out and got a crate half stack just to get myself going, it's not the best so I also got a Digitech RP90 which has amp models ranging from Mesa Boogie Dual Rec to boutique amps..makes the cheap amp sound great and also I have an old Ibanez from when i first started playing though in a few weeks my PRS Mark Tremonti series guitar should be in. If your eyes are sore, I appologize but I have been getting alot of auditions lately and nothing has worked out because I'm to the point musicly where i don't want to join a band if it's not what i'm looking to do. Also, If you are interested and don't have a practice space, I'm willing to pitch in money to rent a space.
