We are a family of three children: a 6 yr old girl, 2 yr old boy, and an infant boy. We are looking for a person with good English, who is warm, mature, has common sense, as well as a sense of fun to sit for our children on Tuesdays and Fridays for most of the day. Some evenings we may request too, as the need arises, of course with ample advance notice. Usually this works out to about 15 to 20 hours a week of work. I should add that since I am still nursing the infant, and the 6 yr old is largely self-sufficient (if anything, she will be of help to you), the bulk of your care will be concentrated on the 2 yr old boy. We are able to offer 10.00 an hour for your services and require that you have your own transportation as we do not live near a bus stop. We also do not want women who would like to bring their own children to the job. The right person will also not object to helping out with the laundry and loading the dishwasher and straightening up the toys- we will not ask for any real housekeeping chores unless you do not find this disagreeable. This position is ideal for the person who has a flexible schedule, such as a student, someone who has a part time job and needs extra hours. We do require at least two references.
