Description:<br>
GENERAL SUMMARY:<br>
<br>
The Director of Leadership Development will be accountable for driving organizational performance and business results by optimizing and growing the performance capability of the workforce. This individual will design, implement and deliver leadership development programs and initiatives to a diverse population in multiple sites. This individual must have demonstrated knowledge of multiple methods for leadership development, including coaching, mentoring, on-the-job experiences, classroom and technology-enabled learning.<br>
<br>
The Director must have demonstrated skills in coaching, mentoring and creating leadership programs and is responsible for the design, development, implementation and evaluation of global leadership development programs and processes for the director level and above. <br>
<br>
Reporting to the Vice President of Learning and Development the Director of Leadership Development will work in conjunction with the operational leaders to ensure that leadership development programs and initiatives and delivery methods are connected to the business and support a dispersed employee population.<br>
<br>
<br>
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<br>
<br>
<br>
<br>
Accountable for numerous leadership development and performance support events and projects.<br>
<br>
Design, develop and deliver effective learning programs for leaders dispersed geographically.<br>
<br>
Ensure alignment of company goals and mission through strategic training management and implementation.<br>
<br>
Develop and implement executive learning and development initiatives. <br>
<br>
Assess training needs and design training programs and curricula.<br>
<br>
Work with leaders to identify learning opportunities and develop appropriate training content to support leadership development programs and initiatives.<br>
<br>
Develop and maintain certification and assessment processes that monitor and evaluate performance skills based on outcomes tied to organizational effectiveness.<br>
<br>
Independently deliver complex training programs and topics that meet the needs of the organization.<br>
<br>
Consult with leaders on professional development planning and implementation.<br>
<br>
Coaching and 360 feedback.<br>
<br>
Determine appropriate blend of traditional learning approaches with existing and new technologies in order to create and deliver best in class learning programs. <br>
<br>
Track statistics and create additional learning and performance metrics as required.<br>
<br>
Evaluate learning programs and effectiveness through the collection of data and feedback.<br>
<br>
Support Learning and Performance team in the delivery of performance support materials as needed.<br>
<br>
Experience:<br>
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:<br>
<br>
<br>
Masters in Organizational Development, Instructional Design, Adult Learning Theory or related field, or an MBA required.<br>
<br>
10+ years organizational and leadership development work experience.<br>
<br>
Minimum of 7-10 years management experience.<br>
<br>
Demonstrated successful experience in interacting with executives.<br>
<br>
Exceptional oral and written English communication skills.<br>
<br>
Ability to perform comfortably in a deadline-oriented work environment and to execute many complex tasks simultaneously.<br>
<br>
Demonstrated ability to facilitate and deliver leadership development curriculum and performance support programs.<br>
<br>
Ability to provide integrated talent management solutions.<br>
<br>
Proven expertise using instructional methods and training techniques, including curriculum design principles, and blended learning strategies.<br>
<br>
Expertise and application in Adult Learning Theory.<br>
<br>
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite'Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Publisher.<br>
<br>
Experience in working in a fast paced, information driven environment where productivity of the workforce is mission critical.<br>
<br>
Certifications in training programs and assessments preferred.<br>
