I am selling a pair of bass-heavy speakers. There are three speakers in each cabinet: A 12" low frequency driver with foam surround, 6" low/midrange driver with rubber surround, and a 3/4" horn loaded bullet tweeter. Driving the KX-12's does not require a powerful amplifier due its 99db (2.83V @ 1m) sensitivity rating, power range 5-250Watts, 8 ohms, frequency range is 25 Hz-20,000 Hz. Other features are the use of dual voice coils, overload protection, 250 watt power handling, and 5-way binding posts. The loading system used is a modified transmission line system, the KX-12 have 2 large ports located in the lower rear of the cabinets. The drivers are magnetically shielded to minimize video interface when in close proximity to TV screen. The dimensions of the cabinets are 34X15X14 and weigh approx. 50 lbs each.
