1958 BALTIMORE COLTS plaque with football cards + Unitas autograph (Perry Hall/White Marsh)
You won't find anything like this! This has been hanging in my uncle's basement since the 1970's. It is a laminated plaque that measures approx 26" X 20". On it are 27 different ACTUAL football cards from 1957 (Yes, Johnny Unitas rookie card is on it) that were arranged around a 8 X 10 black/white photo of the Championship game. It was then laminated by a company called Ernie Montella's Laminated Plaques. Letterhead is taped on the back along with an original ad selling this item for $225. AFTER my uncle received this plaque, he had Johnny Unitas autograph the picture at his restaraunt "The Golden Arm". So, not only are you getting 27 Baltimore Colts football cards from 1957, you also get an autographed 8 X 10 of Johnny Unitas! Before I list this item on Ebay, I am taking "serious" offers from you on Craigslist. I'd really love to see this piece stay in Baltimore, but.....with the price of gasoline, I have to sell it to the highest bidder.
