Something or somebody does NOT want me to learn how to play soccer. I have had 6 (almost) soccer teachers, not one actually got a chance to teach me anything. The first 3 were males who were more interested in doing other things then actually teaching me soccer. The 4th was a girl who got fired before we could exchange numbers. (Hindsight is 20/20. If I had known she was going to get fired 2 days later, I would've gotten her number at that moment.) The 5th was a guy who apparently got upset because we don't share the same taste in music (what did that matter anyway???). 6th was a guy at my job who said he would teach me...told me so last week. Last Saturday I bought the cleats and an outfit to match. He told me on Monday (when I brought him the shoes) that he liked the shoes, I'd done well in purchasing the shoes, and said we'd get together next weekend (after the 4th) so my lessons could start. He was off Tues & Wed. Apparently he was at work this morning for a little while saying goodbye to those in his department because today was his last day.

Why is it so hard for me to learn how to play soccer? I refuse to take the shoes back because I do want to learn. But gosh, I've been trying to find someone for a little over 2 years now. If I don't find someone within a couple of months, I'm going to try myself or choose another sport. I know plenty of guys that play basketball. lol

We are a men's softball team that has been in the Laurel city league for 5 years. Unfortunately we've suffered a couple of injuries and need a couple of more players in the fall.

It's a pretty competitive league now, so we're looking for people that are serious about playing and have some skill. This isn't a rec team or beer league...but on the same token I don't want guys that are going to curse out the ump when a call doesn't go there way.

We are in need of infielders (SS, 2B, 3B) more than OF or 1B/C, and we could always use depth at P...but we would still be interested in a good OF.

We play on Tuesday or Thursday (one night or the other, not both). Games start the first week of August and run through late September. We are also considering a tournament on July 26.

Sanaldo Freitas

Sanaldo was born in Brazil, South America and began playing the national sport of soccer when he was a small child. In his youth, he developed his skills by playing for a number of organizations.
By the time he was 17 years old, Sanaldo was playing soccer professionally. Sanaldo played outdoor soccer in Brazil for S�o Paulo Futebol Club, Lages Esporte Clube, Sport Club Bahia, Associa��o Portuguesa de Desportos, Sport Club Santo Andre and C.E. Umuarama.

In 2003, he came to the US to play in the Major Indoor Soccer League, joining the Kansas City Comets in January 2004. Sanaldo won his first six games to finish the season with a 6-2 record and a 5.76 goals against average. He was named to the MISL All-Rookie Team.
The 2004-2005 season found Sanaldo playing for the Baltimore Blast. His first start was also his first win against Cleveland on December 3rd. January 8th brought his second start against the Philadelphia Kixx, where he saved 13 out of 16 shots on goal. On January 21st, in a game against the St. Louis Steamers, Sanaldo saved 22 of the 25 shots faced for his highest save total of the season. His first shutout took place on February 19th against Philadelphia, where he saved all 12 shots on goal.

The highlight of the 2005-2006 season with the Blast, was Sanaldo's win in the first game of the MISL Championship series on April 28th against the St. Louis Steamers. He saved 22 shots on goal and was recognized for his accomplishment by being voted Most Valuable Player of the game.
On June 20, 2006, Sanaldo was the first player selected by the Detroit Ignition in the MISL Expansion Draft. During the Ignition's inaugural season, Sanaldo led the team to the MISL Championship game. The first-year team fell to the veteran Philadelphia KiXX 13 to 8. Sanaldo's 10.85 points allowed average was the third best in the league. His 13 wins were second only to Peter Pappas of the KiXX. Sanaldo made 325 Saves, again second only to Pappas.

Sanaldo was acquired by the California Cougars from the Detroit Ignition in exchange for the second overall pick in the 2007-2008 expansion draft.
Currently, Sanaldo is the starting goalkeeper for the California Cougars.

Any competitive Baseball teams out there who can use an extra player? I'm available to play Sundays and some week nights.

I played until I was 37 then stopped. Haven't played in 4 years.

I could always hit and I'm sure that will come back quickly... always batted over .400. I also had a little pop... and where there were fences I'd occassionally clear them.

I can play any position adequately but I'm best at corner infield and outfield. I was also a pitcher... but stopped playing primarily due to shoulder problems. Maybe 4 years is enough to have healed the problem... won't know until I start throwing again.

I'll play anywhere in Baltimore County, Baltimore City or Harford County.

Afternoon Classes Monday - Friday start at 12:15 - 1:00
Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday evening classes start at 6:30 - 7:15
Tuesday evening class starts at 6:00 - 6:45

The class consists of cardio, weights (provided), and core exercises. Feel free to bring your own exercise ball or you may purchase one for $10.

Project Soar Performing Arts Camp FREE!!!!!! (Baltimore)

Project Soar presents a performing arts summer camp that will take place july 7th- july 31st. The times are 9 am to 3:30 pm monday through friday. Field trips are included in the camp. Students will recieve breakfast and lunch. Sessions will include instrumental music, vocal, dance, graphic art, audio and video.
Recreation and outdoor activities will also take place.

The location is 701 Cherry Hill rd. There is a 10 registration fee but that is all that is required for the whole camp
